Can I microwave A Soft Toy?

I'm on a holiday now and made the mistake of putting my daughter's wet plushie in a zip lock, resulting in a bad smell when I took it out. The plushie is her best friend so I'm wondering if I can rinse it and put it in a microwave to rid the smell? Or what can I do? Thanks in advance

Please don’t microwave it! Plushie will cook and burn. Try soaking in baking soda mixed with water overnight, then wash. If you’re scared the fur will fall off in the washing machine, you can handwash it. For drying, use the sun. That also helps to get rid of the smell.
