my gynae prescribed me Duphalac when I have constipation during pregnancy. It does not work much for me but it does make my stool softer.
I still need to push my poop out but with less effort. I think it also depends on how much you take - more to have a diahorrea effect
Normally after giving birth, it’s hard to push stools out so they give us stools softener. But prior to natural delivery, the Gynae will give u some medicine for you to clear all ur waste so you won’t have much waste to clear after your delivery
