39W3D No sign of contractions

Im a FTM and having a baby girl, 3.3kg. EDD is 9 Jan. Last week cervix check is 0cm. Heard that they say first BB girl can wait up to 42 weeks to be born? Just wondering if i should induce....?

I was induced at about 39w4d. The whole process till delivery took me 26 hours. Natural birth.

I was due exactly on my EDD, 40 weeks. Water bag broke but no dilation. End up induce and c sect.

    Induce will increase ur chances of getting csect..

      May I know why? I thot induce will make it dilate tho..
