I did confinement 5 times. 4 x fan directly blowing at me, showered daily and moved house before I had my 5th, had the A/C and fan on towards me.
Coming to 40. No aches whatsoever. You'll be sweating like crazy in confinement. What I avoided was the natural wind outside home, not the fan, not the A/C.
