i was diagnosed with GDM at 24 weeks.was advised by my OB to see endocrinologist.nirecommend na mag insulin ako.ang diet ko no simple carbohydrates like white bread,pasta,white rice,no crackers.And more on complex carbo po ako like sweet potato wheat bread pero small portion lng po lagi.More on vegetables din po ako which includes ampalaya,okra,dahon ng camote and malunggay.Black rice po ang rice ko.my 1 cup of cook black rice 3 days ko na po yun.Now at 33 weeks naging normal na po ang aking sugar.from 11.87 to 3.97 na lng po.my endocrinologist advice me to continue my insulin pa rin hanggang manganak ako.and will see him 6 weeks after i deliver my baby.I do walking also everyday morning and late afternoon for 30 minutes need po pagpawisan it helps burning the blood sugar.Its a sacrifice pero need natin gawin to get rid of further complications sa delivery ni baby.

I was also diagnosed with GDM at 21 weeks, the struggle is real, cos i dont want and im afraid of insulin shots, was advised by endo to monitor my sugar 4x a day for a week after check-up, if di bumaba or if di ko ma Reach target ko for that week will have insulin shots, but thank God, na reach ko naman by diet na tinuro nya sakin, now 2x a day nalang ako mag monitor ng sugar at no insulin, mommies let's pray to God and do our best to decrease our sugar level, this too shall pass🙏🙏🙏🙏

Your blood sugar should be monitored depende po sa OB mo, once twice or thrice a day before or after meals then may insulin din po na binibigay pag di controlled. Pwede rin po iwasan ang fatty and high carbohydrates foods

Watch your diet lang mag.less ka ng mga pagkaing marami ang carbs saka sa fruit and veggies ka mag.focus
