No being negative but the best person to advice will be your gynec. At a closer to delivery stage of pregnancy, you shouldn't be taking any chance listening to non professionals like us. Your gynec knows best how is your nutrition absorption. Not necessarily what works for me will work for you in same way 😊 But if I am to suggest, I have read maternity milk, durians and avacados do help in increasing baby's weight. *no personal experience though*
Don't worry. At this stage your baby will gain weight much faster. I was told that my baby was less than 2kg & I needed to eat more so everyday I gobbled 2 Double Cheeseburgers 😂 My baby gained weight and luckily I did not, otherwise will have trouble to shed the extra weight. She was born healthy and still is today. Also, materna milk helps alot.
Your baby will gain weight much faster now towards delivery. I had lotsa avocado and durians (believed to be very fatty fruits) and gave birth to 2.9kg baby girl at 38weeks. At wk 34 my baby was not even 2kg and I was worried too!
I don’t think there’s any ways to ensure Abby absorb nutrients. It’s the placenta job. But what we can do is to eat healthy fats? Eg: avocado ? I think you should ask ur gynae
34 weeks till due date they rarely gain A LOT of weight this is the time they start to slow down in weight gain soooooo not sure what your gynae mean...
ask your gynae, whatever we say we did not have the info your gynae had to say this. Your gynae is a professional and we’re not.
I had experienced same as you and my gynae said that should eat more protein (beef, etc)
