If you’re planning on the subsidized route, walk in to any polyclinic or CHAS GP soon as you can, they can refer you to KKH or something. That can easily take 2 weeks, so you don’t wanna wait too long. (I got a scan on week 6, can see baby’s heart beating! ❤️)
If you would like to be under subsidize you may go to poly and ask for referral. Should you consider to take gynae, you may search for your preferred choice and go directly to hospital/clinic to check for availability as well as do your first check.
I think its fine. 5w5d might be difficult to see the embryo on ultrasound. Im going on week9. My first pregnancy i went at wk7. But if u go earlier maybe dr will give u some meds to support the pregnancy if that gives u peace of mind.
I waited for 2 or 3 months cos I don't really like the vaginal ultrasound. but when is up to the person comfort level
