switch from private to subsidise at KKH

i’m currently 11 weeks pregnant and i’d like to change from private to subsidise must i go to polyclinic for a referral or i can just ask to downgrade at the counter? anybody can advise me please thank you so much !#advicepls #pregnancy #1sttimemom
