When is the best time to choose a gynae

Im 5weeks now and would like to choose my preferred gynae. Im currently under subside and hope to change to private maybe once im at my third trimester. However she is only available in May 2022. Isit too late? Also when is the best time to to choose a gynae? TIA!

I changed to pvt when i was ard 6 mths.. don’t chg too late cos the gynae u want might not be available already..
