Weight of fetus at 37 wks
Im at 37 weeks and baby weight is 2.6kg. Is the weight normal?
Did you check with gynae whether it’s normal when she weighed your baby? I’m also 37 weeks baby is 2.8kg, 23rd percentile in weight. Doc says is good size and he isn’t bothered so long as weight keep increasing steadily towards labor. He tell me that maximum size for baby should grow until 3.1kg ~~ based on my body build and size for natural birth. Everyone is different

Don’t worry too much about baby’s weight if gynae says it’s normal. My baby was 2.4KG at week 36, I tried my best to increase her weight within 2 weeks. Baby was 2.8KG at week 40’s scan, came out at 2.6KG at week 40D3 😂
I was inform by doctor boy and girl is diff. Do check with doctor again but it should be good at this size since good to keep about 3kg before born :)
As long Dr does not comment anything, there is no worry. My first kid had a similar estimate, but she came out at 3.4kg. 😆
