I got GD at week 16. 1. Cut down your sugary drinks 2. Ensure 2 servings of fruits a day. Each time 1 serving. (EG, 1 serving equates to 1/4 dragon fruit, or half an apple etc) 3. Regular food intake to prevent spikes on glucose level. Eg, breakfast (2 slice of bread with egg and a cup of milk), 2 hrs later light snack. 2 hrs later lunch etc etc Till night. 3 heavier 3 light meals helps to maintain.
mee.. cant remember exact values but it was on the borderline.. Ob referred me to an Endocrinologist for co-management. After 1 month of 3x a week Random Blood Sugar monitoring, my endocrinologist wanted me to take 70/30 Insulin 10 units every morning 30 mins before my first meal which I also agreed (for my baby's safety). currently at 29 weeks of gestation, btw.
BPS -101 OGTT AFTER 2hrs 210 Tried balance diet, with the help of my endo and dietitian. Nothing changed, no Choice need kona mag take ng insulin, prescribed is 5cc every 5mins before my dinner. 29weeks preggy here. Goodluck my, be safe.
I’m at 7.4 after consuming glucose water and was told to monitor my glucose level every alternate day using the glucose test kit. I wasn’t diagnosed with gestational diabetes but was recommended to do self monitoring. It was a great suggestion because it made me watch what I eat. I’d recommend anyone to do the same if you’re anywhere above 7.
I got 6.71 kc no rice po ako more protein and veggies lng ako, no sugary drinks, 5 liters water a day plus buko juice nkakahelp po sya.

At 29 weeks, i'm glad that i can drink bottles of warm water. Whenever i'm thirsty, i'll just drink only warm water. At times, of course, the cravings for bubble tea, starbucks, coffee bean and other sweet drinks are there! And my love for hot soya bean with pearls (50% sugar) everytime i visit KKH. 😂
