Does Sleep position really matters?

I’m 18 weeks pregnant and I read that it’s advisable to sleep on the left side for better blood circulation. But does it really matter or will there be any serious impact if i lie down normally and sleep on the right on some nights? Cos sleeping on one side can be tiring for my back too.
