oh oh, I asked a kkh consultant recently, and according to her, you can request for a lactation consultant once you admitted to hospital for labour. Like maybe let the nurse know you want one after you delivered or something. KKH said that usually you can ask the mid wives/nurses that assist you in delivery, but you can also request for a lactation consultant for help and seems like its foc while you are in the hospital stay. (After you discharge it is chargeable).
