if you already scheduled a date for c-sect but your water broke before that date, will that be consider as elective or emergency c-sect?

i gave birth at glen e has scheduled c sec. was told that if baby were to come out before the date I have to try natural if not it will be emergency c sec

I managed to get it as elective as the doctor was unavailable to perform the c section when I was admitted.

Depends on the hospital. Mine was KKH but private, my bill came up to $10k plus (this was in 2021 though). I was very lucky because my insurance covered whatever that was not payable via medisave and I ended up not paying anything in cash.
