Is ideal to force your child to learn another language aside from your local and English?

no definitely not. forcing your child to speak other languages will only make him or her want to rebel against it. instead, make it interesting for your child. if there is a good language class that you think your child will enjoy attending, maybe yes.

I guess "force" may be not the right term. It would be nice if you introduce other languages, but you also have to gauge your child's interest and ability to learn.

Nope. In every aspect, don't force your child to do it. It might have a bad effect in the future.
