Hi,
I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes (currently just above the limit) and currently on monitoring glucose level after each meals.
After 2 consultations, my doctor already prescribed me insulin shots without detailed nutrition control advice. (what and how much to each, when to eat, exercise..etc)
Is it normal in Singapore?? (that they do not conduct nutrition advice by licensed dietitians and prescribe medicines instead)
I am trying to control what to eat by myself without advice but I find it hard. And I would like to avoid taking insulin as much as possible.
