I'm not sure about big holes but my 14 yr old daughter used to have 3 small holes in her heart when I was pregnant with her. Dr told me not to worry cos the holes will close by themselves when she grows. It does took some time and now the holes are all fully closed. If your dr adviced you for a surgery, best to follow.

My baby has two large hole in his heart too but doctor didn’t recommend me to do surgery because my baby still 2 months old but he said i should do 2D echo after 6 months if it won’t close then i must do surgery to close the hole. How’s your baby?
