I took without gynae advice too. gynae prescribed antacid was useless, so tried gaviscon which worked pretty fast.
Yes it REALLY helps me too. But I never take it daily. Just bear with it sometimes too. I took the sachets Kind .
gaviscon is safe during pregnancy. it's also stated on the bottle fine print if you need more assurance .
