I AM SO PISSED OFF! Staying with my parents and they have a helper. I just got back to work (freelance) and wanted my own FDW but my parents told me no space so I have to make do with their helper who helps a lil bit. It's been a week now that my baby doesn't eat and drink so much. She drinks 60ml max. Past week I had back to back meetings/appointments. Came home only by dinner time. Idk how they feed her! Today I'm back early about 11am and they were feeding her Banana when it's supposed to be an hour before her lunch time. Now my baby is rejecting her lunch! She doesn't want anything at all. She drinks only (BM) 90ml five times a day. She used to take in solids very very well. WHAT SHOULD I DO??????
Oh dear.. this is a tricky situation to be in. Any chance you could try writing out her regular feeding schedule and preparing her meals in advance on days you have to go out for meetings, and giving the schedule to your parents to follow? Or will it be possible for you to bring your baby along for the meetings? I understand it is not ideal, but if the meetings are not too long, perhaps you can consider this and explain to your clients/partners? Otherwise, any friends or fellow mummies staying nearby who can help look after your baby on days where you need to go out for meetings? Also, you can find out what feeding schedule your parents have been trying to put your baby on? Talk to your parents rationally. Try to keep your cool to see if something could be worked out. Perhaps they are just unsure of what to do. Showing them what you have been doing or preparing the food in advance may work? All the best and take care of yourself!!
Read moreFirstly, u did not mention the age of ur child so I don't know how to advise how much food is enough. If u are relying on anyone to look after baby, the onus is on u to instruct specifically what time to feed what and if baby is hungry earlier or sleeping at mealtime or xxx situation, how to handle. It doesn't mean u have ur own maid things will be different. Either u tell pple how to do it, be v clear about it and accept some leeway otherwise u have to do it urself
Read moreSince they are helping you, probably just give and take. Probably advice nicely that having banana one hour before mealtime is not ideal as a banana is pretty filling for a child stomach. If you are unable to do cc arrangement, you just have to make do of whoever is looking after your child at no additional cost. And it isn't take bad gg to cc. You need not to wean them off bm by gg to CC. unless you are lazy to pump and express.
Read moreHi Hun. Probably you could talk to your parents nicely on the meal schedule and that it helps to improve her appetite for meals. Healthy snacks are fine in between dear. Just keep saying thanks to those helping so they feel appreciated and will help you more and listen to your concerns. Just relax and enjoy the journey of motherhood.
Read moreI think you should give ur parents a meal plan to follow which you plan together with them. Explain to them the importance of baby meal plans and how you need their support to raise a champion baby :) I am sure they only want the best for your child Too
Frankly, for me I would be more thankful and appreciative. As I truly understand what it means to have no family, nor any extended help. So I would therefore be thankful. The least is they still help. That's more important.

Tell them what to feed your child or prepare it beforehand so ur child can eat the food u prepare ? Honestly when someone else take care of ur child, u got to accommodate a little.
Been down the road, feeling pissed and complaining wont help hun. Its best to hire your own helper so the helper could follow your meal plan schedules. Cheers!
You are just picky. Be grateful u have help, if you want draw up a schedule.
