RED PACKET

I am not closed to my in-laws. I am a divorcee almost 2 years. Ex-Husb no where to be found. My child is not closed to my In-law side. If my in-law invite me for CNY, i will consider to go. But if they dont invite me; do i still to attend such thing? If we are invited, may i know how much red packet $$ do you give your In-Law?? Do you just give to one person or both?? Need some clarifications as i dont usually give, only my ex husband give when i was with him, for me i love baking; so i bring lots of goodies and oranges.

It's CNY so go with a festive heart and bring your yummy cookies and oranges to your elders... bring your child along to show it is important to respect the elders. Also, you will know what to do next year depending on how they treat you this year. Have a blessed year ahead :)

I think you should still visit your in-laws. Give them both $66 angbao each and bring some oranges and cookies.

The angbao money can give Auspicious figures ending with 8.
