When can give water to 5.5mth old baby?

I intend to start giving solid food for my 5.5 month old baby. So can I also start giving water at the same time or need to wait till baby is 6 month old? #firsttimemom

I started feeding solids when my bubs turned 5mo, as long as baby can sit up , you can start introducing solids and water

I gave 1-2 baby spoon sips (2-3 drops per spoon) during 5.5m when she tried cereal. But I only feed maybe once or twice a week.
