I think it's best to seek advice from a healthcare professional so you know the possible treatment for your condition aside from using crutches. My wife also fractured her ankle while she was pregnant. We decided to seek advice from an orthopaedic clinic. Of course, we are also nervous because we don't want the treatment to affect our child at that time. We consulted with Dr Alan Cheung of International Orthopaedic Clinic; we told him we were worried about our child, and he assured us that the treatment would not affect our child. Good thing it was just a minor case.
why would you even think crutches will effect the child. and why would u think inactive will harm the pregnancy while some pregnant lady have to be bed ridden during their pregnancy due to complications. you are thinking too much
