Hi! 1) I have two cats and they’re both been vaccinated and cleared from any bugs so it’s okay to introduce them. And no he didn’t fall sick due to the pets 😉 but best to always clean the fur etc so it won’t get on your LO’s toys etc and into their mouth! 2)But tbh I didn’t even introduce, when I brought the baby back they just decided to introduce themselves hahah. They started with sniffing his legs and head, but within an hour they just sleep with the baby. They don’t disturb him and if he wakes up they will come out and start meowing to let me know he’s awake. Strange but it’s very cute 🥰

actually studies show that the immunity system of babies who lives with pets are way better and stronger than those without. Of course the pets must be kept clean. My LO have been living under the same room as my fluffy Japanese Spitz since born, and she have been healthy! Both are happy and my baby definitely loves to get the attention of my dog. On top of that, its my way to educating my baby on loving, caring and be empathetic towards animals! So it aint a bad thing afterall. (PS: Depends on the temperament of your dog too! )

It is very important that you send your pet to the vet to do a full body check and also have its vaccination. When my baby was born, all i did was put my baby near me and let my cat sniff him but of course, under your supervision.
