During Dr Frans' live Ask The Expert session, he recommended parents not to let their babies cry it out, and to comfort your child during difficult periods, as your baby can't help but cry during their developmental stages. Not sure what is your take on the use of pacifier. My friend used that to help her little girl learn to self soothe. After patting her till her daughter is somewhat drowsy, she will offer the pacifier to her girl. She felt that the pacifier helped to comfort her girl and allow her baby to drift off to sleep. Just sharing. :)

I do not want to use pacifier as I do not want to go through the phase of weaning her off.
