Itchy skin after birth

I have been experience itch all around my body and often feel very hot after birth. Is it normal? Im starting to have rash due to the itch. Could the itch be cause of epidural i took during labour? I gave birth during January.

After giving birth you need to apply moisturiser etc cos our body lose alot of nutrients. I only experience epidural back ache especially when menses arrives.
