15 w 3 d , can detect gender ?

Yeah most likely you can detect the gender already. But not sure if you’ll get a scan. Which hospital are you? As for me, on my 16 weeks appt I didn’t have any scan. They just used a Doppler to check heart rate of baby. From 12 weeks to 21 weeks for me no scan at KKH. Didn’t see my baby for 9 weeks.
