I am so sorry you are going through this. Experiencing a miscarriage is heartbreaking on its own, without the added worry of a cyst. I was in a very similar situation a few years ago. After a miscarriage, a scan picked up a 5cm cyst. My doctor suggested waiting for my next period to see if it would shrink, but it didn't budge. Further checks showed it was a dermoid cyst, which unfortunately cannot dissolve on its own.
I spent weeks hoping for a miracle, but I eventually decided to have it removed via keyhole surgery. Honestly, the worry beforehand was the worst part. The procedure was straightforward, recovery was quick, and it gave me total peace of mind for when I was ready to try again. If you are feeling unsure while waiting for your cycle, it might help to get a second opinion just to ease your mind. I ended up seeing a my gynaecologist, Dr Chris Ng, who was incredibly reassuring.
