Brown discharge after first period finish after giving birth

I just got my period back after giving birth 2 months ago. The bleeding has stopped on day 6 after which the discharge back to white/cloudy. However today, my discharge is brownish, light amount. Is it normal that period afterbirth is a little haywire or something? Should i be worried? I checked ovulation test strip - negative. #firstbaby #firstmom

It could just be the last bit of old blood clearing out, which does happen, and periods after birth can genuinely be a bit irregular for a while as your body settles. That said, since you are still in the postpartum period and this is your first cycle back, it might be good to bring it up with your PD or gynae, just to get a proper check and peace of mind.
