I don't think it is normal. How is your baby behaving? Is she having any fever or were there other symptoms/physical discomfort that you have noticed? Have asked around and none of my friends have experienced this (not for such prolonged period at least). Most articles (like this one: http://www.webmd.com/parenting/baby/features/truth-about-baby-poop?page=3) recommend a trip to the doctor if notice that your baby is having green, mucus-like stools. It is best to bring her to see a pediatrician. Here is a list for your reference, you can find perhaps find one that is near your home? https://www.practo.com/singapore/pediatrician There are some reviews of pds here on ParentTown too, you can have a look through the entries: http://parenttown.com/sg/group/pediatrician-pd-review

Hi @Roshni noted for the nsfw feature :) May I know is it normal as baby's immune system is developing? who should i look for? As I brought her to Polyclinic but the doctor ask me to bring her to KKH. Is it so serious that doctor from polyclinic can't do anything and need to send her to KKH? Not sure which department I should go as brought her to emergency last time cost me $100+ cause baby is having flu. And doctor just simply said it is infection and gave medication.

She's ok no fever but spilt milk. hmm.. Not sure is spilt milk or vomit?! what is the normal color of baby's stool who is fully breastfeed for 5+mnths? Found that no more mustard yellow stool recent month. Most of the time is dark yellow color. Thanks lots!!! HuiQun!!! Don't know there are lots of pediatricians! I thought they are same as polyclinic doctor. Forgive me... haha new mummy

You're most welcome! :) If it's yellow or dark yellow, it should be normal. Take a look at this post. The post included photos which you can compare your baby's stools to: http://www.babycentre.co.uk/baby-poo-photos Typically, diarrhea would last for 5-7 days. If your baby's stools are more or less back to normal (yellowish), that is normal for a breastfed baby. :) Hope this helps!

sometimes it could be stomach flu or some viral infection. so long as baby has enough fluid, there's nothing for you to worry about unless it is more than a week or so. Mummy's diet plays a part too. Sometimes when mummy takes too heaty or spicy food, LO's poo will be affected too.

I think your baby may be having diarrhea. It is often related to stomach virus or is a sign of an allergy. For now, ensure that your baby is having sufficient fluid intake to prevent dehydration. If this has been going on for 2 weeks, I think it is better to bring her to the doctor.

am afraid that is rotavirus. Is your baby vomit too? Same thing happen with my son few months ago and it was rotavirus. Better check to doctor soon. Dont forget to keep him hydrated

Hi, it could be a foremilk/hind milk issue. Read this for more info http://kellymom.com/mother2mother/m2m-green-stools/
