Breastfeeding

I dont want to breastfeed newborn. As i have past records of lumps in my breast. Do i have to inform the doc that i dw to breastfeed? Do they inject or give tablets to stop the milk production. Will my breast still engorged? I can feel i have alot of milk again- 2nd pregnancy. Yet to give birth
