Is it possible to be pregnant with menses-like bleeding?

I just done IVF embryo transfer 9 days ago and due for pregnancy test in the coming week. However bleeding happened today (also the day of my expected period) and the flow is like my usual menses. Is it a failure/miscarriage?

Best to speak with gynae/doctor in charge of your IVF for benefit of doubt.
