PLEASE HELP! Unable to pee (urinary retention) after delivery

Hi all, I delivered naturally 2 weeks ago and is still on catheter. Will be going through a trial soon to see if I can pee again. I am feeling lost and alone in this as I never heard others having this condition. Any mommies went through this before can share more and how long you took to recover? I am afraid that I will need to be on catheter for life and that thought makes me depress.. Any comments or experience sharing is greatly appreciate. It just gets more and more upsetting day by day. Thanks.
