Breast pump

I am currently using Spectra C breast pump but I am just wondering if there is any ‘best breast pump’ to use for someone with oversupply? The one i have only massages the aerola. Is there a breast pump that can massage the whole breast to ensure the milk ducts are massaged too?

For oversupply specifically, the Spectra S1 is generally considered a solid step up from the C model, it has stronger suction control and you can swap out collection cups mid-session which helps when you're dealing with a lot of milk. That said, no pump is actually designed to massage the whole breast; that part really needs to come from your own hands, doing a gentle compression from the outer breast inward while pumping helps to clear the ducts more effectively than any machine can. A friend of mine who had quite bad oversupply swore by combining the Medela Freestyle with hands-on breast massage throughout the session, saying it made a noticeable difference in how fully drained she felt after. So rather than looking for a different pump, you might get better results pairing what you already have, or upgrading to the S1, with a consistent whole-breast massage technique during each session.
