I am currently housing my mil but constantly stressed due to parenting interference. She comments everything I do such as the bibs I bring to ifc, the type of corn or potatoes I buy… etc. I am a working mum and when I need to work in office, my mil will helpfully cooks dinner for my boy. The issue is, she feeds the boy and tell my son that “Your mama don’t cook as nice as me”.
This incident traumatised me and I never allow her to cook for my son thereafter.
I believe my mil is really bored at home and have nothing to do. She have no desire to work either.
She will then pick on almost everything I do when it comes to parenting the kid.
I am stressed by her comments till I have insomnia.
What do you think I should do? It doesn’t seems like she have the means to get a house anytime soon and I do hope my husband really settle another house for my in laws when it’s time for MOP.
