You are not alone… I’m struggling too. It’s legit all day sickness, not just morning. It’s 1:40am now and I’m woken up by nausea and feeling of puking. Anyway seabands work a little for me (can get it Watsons or guardian) and I wear them during the day. Good to also have back up nauseous pills from doctor if it’s super disruptive and not manageable anymore. Also, I stopped having any expectations on food. I just eat for survival (mentally I tell myself too so it helps a lot once we give up on food enjoyment), and focus on eating / finding bland food like porridge, fish ball soup, bland soup, or just like bread & butter/egg etc… I have also stopped eating one full meal since week 6 (am at week 12) - try to share with a friend or husband or partner. Also, as my nausea is completely not manageable, I do go in work early and hide in a phone booth to rest before starting the work day… I also had to inform my bosses so they can understand why there are times I have to disappear.

I feel for you, this stage can be really tough and draining. What helped me was eating small frequent meals even if it's just crackers or plain rice, staying hydrated with sips of water or ginger tea throughout the day, and lying down for a bit after eating since sometimes movement makes it worse. Some mums swear by vitamin B6 supplements or ginger, but you should check with your gynae at KKH or polyclinic about what's safe to take and whether the nausea is manageable or if you need extra support. Hang in there, it usually gets better after the first trimester, though I know that doesn't make today any easier.

Thank you for taking your time to reply and give me the tips and advice. It truly helped because some things tht u mention i did experience but didnt know if it really is because of that or not so i will definitely be mindful and ask my gynae too on my next appointment. Its just that my next appointment is still a long way and its kind of a dread to wait🥹

Hi there smaller meals help, eating rice / banana / dry biscuits esp in the morning. you can consider getting some medication from the Gynae, it helped me a lot in my first pregnancy. I was prescribed diclectin and took it when the nausea was bad. Hope you feel better soon. I couldn’t eat much during 1st tri too, make sure you continue folic acid

Im nauseous if Im hungry so I've been eating non stop 😅. But someone recommended Seabands (a wrist band that press on an acupuncture point) to help with nausea. I bought it from guardian and I find it helps a little
