Hi, I am currently 30 weeks and I read somewhere that rockmelon should be avoided during pregnancy. Is this true? Can I still eat a little? TIA! #pleasehelp #firstbaby #pregnancy

There’s a risk of listeria on rock melon. I think about 3/4 years ago there was a listeria outbreak that caused a major recall of rock melon. Listeria when consumed can have pretty bad effects. If the melon is clean and not tainted with salmonella or listeria, it’s actually a great fruit to eat in moderation.

Buy the ones from donki! They are very yumz but now i tink not the season. Anyway i took rock melons during my pregnancy too
