Yes you’ll still bleed. For me, it wasn’t much so I used the hospital’s one. As I’m a plus-size, slipping into the disposable panties was quite tight (even after buying plus-size ones) and I didn’t want to keep bending over with my fresh wound. Especially when the stretchy part of the panties rub against the wound... ahhhh no no no.. So I was really thankful for the hospital ones with the string. They also have disposable panties and pads. So it depends on you.
