Covid quarantine in hotel
Hi, may I check singaporean need to pay if quarantine in singapore hotel? Around how much? Do do register if intend to stay in hotel? My dad just found out that he got covid, and house have infant, that's y he wanted to stay in hotel.

Hey, so from what I understand, the mandatory quarantine hotel setup (SHN) that Singapore had during the earlier COVID period has actually been lifted, your dad doesn't have a government-assigned facility to go to now, so it would really just be booking a regular hotel on his own dime. That said, if he's looking at a private stay just to isolate away from your infant, he'll need to book and pay out of pocket like any normal hotel stay, which can vary quite a bit depending on which hotel he picks. My friend's parent did something similar, just chose a budget hotel nearby for about a week to protect a newborn at home, and said it was manageable cost-wise compared to the stress of worrying. The main thing to weigh is whether a mid-range hotel with a proper kitchenette or meal delivery option makes more sense than a cheaper room where he might struggle with food and comfort while unwell, those practical things add up. It's worth calling the hotel directly to explain the situation, as some are more accommodating than others when it comes to extended sick stays.
