Kkh private (A class and B1 ward)

hi! can i check for private patient - do we get to use our Medisave to pay up for A class/B1 ward during delivery?

I just given birth at KKH A1 ward last week. After admitted to the delivery suite, they will ask you to register admission and make payment on the spot. For private A1, we made an initial deposit of about 2.8k. Any outstanding amount from checkups will also require to be paid first. Medisave can be used for A1 for both c sect or vaginal delivery.

Oh anyway! You won’t necessarily get to stay in A1 despite wanting A1 too. It depends on the availability. When I was admitted, I almost had no available room for that and was told if don’t have until the time baby popped, then I have to go for b1.

I chose B1. And yes, I did used my medisave. But I had to pay upfront cash as well
