Nuh B1 ward

Hi, can i check if i choose my own gynae during my last trimester at Nuh , i would technically be under private patient. Is B1 ward applicable for me? And how are the charges like and are there any govt subsidy or medisave deductions from The cost?

I'd recommend calling NUH's maternity counter directly to clarify this one, because the private vs subsidy situation can get a bit complicated depending on which scheme you're on and whether your gynae is part of their panel. From what I understand, if you're choosing your own doctor outside the hospital's team, you might be classified differently for ward eligibility and subsidies, but honestly the best way to know for sure is to ask them directly about B1 ward availability with your own gynae and what the out-of-pocket costs would be after Medisave deduction.
