Mummy you may want to stop the Magnolia oat drink and see whether it is the cause for your diarrhea. Normally is have diarrhea got to avoid all dairy products for awhile until recover. Meanwhile do keep yourself hydrated as you are losing water, plus breastfeeding. Drink warm drink/soup will make you feels better. Are your baby having both BM and FM? When you BF your baby, it might due to the food or drink intake which is sensitive to baby. But it could also due to the recent change in FM.
Oh dear, must be uncomfortable for you.. Very importantly, drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration. Your baby will not be affected by your diarrhea. His symptoms may be due to the changes to his formula. If you suspect it is the magnolia oat drink that is causing your diarrhea, stop for awhile and see if your condition improves. Take care and get as much rest as you can! Stay hydrated!
Try to stop the magnolia milk. for me when I had diarrhoea, my boy followed suit. Supposedly if we are sick, baby will not get affected. It could be due to other reasons. I'm not sure though. meanwhile keep yourself hydrated and rest as much as you can. that's the most important thing to watch out for, dehydration.
Drink plenty of water to rehydrated yourself. And don't worries about breastfeeding as your body is building antibodies for this viral that your body is fighting now. Most importantly, hygiene. Wash hands after going to the toilet and flush. If possible get a dettol spray to spray the toilet after every use
Do u have lactose intolerance? If yes, you may wish to stop taking milk else got to take lactose free milk. This actually happens to me too. Maybe for babies, they too feel uncomfortable when mummy feels uncomfortable too.
How to know if I got lactose intolerance?
When I have diarrhoea, my baby always tends to get it too. I take charcoal tablets and drink soy milk, it helps to reduce my diarrhoea and baby's.
