hospitalisation leave

I ask my gynae for Hospitalisation leave and he didn't allow it. My body can't take it anymore to work as I'm working as an infant teacher. I keep on bending to carry babies more than 5kg. Now my back hurts and I have swollen legs. I can't apply for unpaid leave as it will affect my appraisal , Should I change gynae. My ML can only be used after 36 weeks.

Mama to 1 and another 1 upcoming!

you may want to talk to your upperhand management instead and see if that works for you. maybe they'll get a replacement, or you'd work on smth else instead of handling those infants.
