Small gestational sac

I am at 5weeks 6days, just went to have my first scan. OB mentioned that the gestational sac is measuring smaller than expected- probably around 4weeks. He mentioned that there is a significant risk of miscarriage. I had two miscarriages previously. Any success stories or similar experiences to share?
