How accurate is clear blue pregnancy test kit?

I am 2-3 days before my next period due date. However i have been experiencing on and off cramp feelings for the past 3 days. Thought my period is here but it isnt. Decided to test for pregnancy but its negative. Can i check if its cramp due to implantation can the pregnancy test shows negative at the initial stage? Or it will alr show positive? Thanks
