How and where did you celebrate your child's first birthday?

Simpleng celebration attended by my immediate family and my hubby's parents. Lunch in a Japanese resto (Yabu) then dessert on a Fil resto (bday cake from Contis! :)) 9 lang kami in total. We need to be disreet din kasi by that time, mahabang kwento, but what I learned from it is it's really the thanksgiving for your blessings, my child's bday for that, that matters and not the fancy party that you throw. :)

Instead of the usual program, we rented giant inflatables (slide, bouncy castle) and theme was picnic so merienda food para no need for big tables and catering.
