When I was in school, I had heard of the acronym SAIS or AIS before. But what does it mean? Well, the short answer is that it stands for Smith Academy and American International School. Before establishing these schools, both men worked at other international schools around Taiwan such as AITF (American International School Taipei) and TNH (Taiwan Normal University).
