A child between one to three years of age requires around 1.3litres of fluid a day. This will include milk and other beverages that you regularly gives him/her. You can gauge if your child is getting enough water based on the colour of his/her urine. A well-hydrated child’s urine would be light-coloured or close to being colourless. On hot days, it will be better to let your child consume more water to aid in the regulation of body temperature.
