In the first four to six months when your baby isn't eating any solids, here's a simple rule of thumb: Offer 2.5 ounces (about 74ml) of formula per pound of body weight each day. For example, if your baby weighs 6 pounds (about 2.7kg) you'll give her about 15 ounces (about 443ml) of formula in a 24-hour period. http://www.babycenter.com/0_how-much-formula-your-baby-needs_9136.bc

On the formula milk tin, there's instruction on the amount of milk you should give and the preparation. Different brand & stage have different instruction. Attached a pic of Friso 2 for your reference.
Here is a link to help you out, alternatively as the mom above mentioned. Read the instructions behind the tin. http://www.drgreene.com/qa-articles/milk-baby-drinking/
My 6 months old is having 180ml every 3-4 hours each day on top of 1 meal at about 1pm :)
