Number of kids and why

I grew up in a huge family, with a few dozen cousins in both of my parent's sides. And although it is really fun to have a huge family tree, raising children is a different matter altogether. For this reason I'd be happy to have at most two kids. That would be enough work for me. Besides, my children already belong in a massive family by default so they're not like they're missing out.
