I switched to Handsfree after 1.5m so I have my hands to feed/change baby if I need to. Night time if baby’s feeding time coincides with my pumping time, I will feed myself. If she wakes up after or not my pump time, I’ll ask my husband to feed instead.
If I bring bb out alone, I’ll pump 10 mins before her feed time then just give the expressed milk. Bring along liquid cleanser (even thou some nursing rooms provides, it’s usually empty) to wash the pumps after if you need it for next session outdoors.
